ATT: keep me alerted to bites and my vehicle secure!

Advanced Technology Tackle are the front runners when it comes to alarm technology. For several years now ATT have produced a remote bite indication system to existing bite alarms that do not come with the built in capabilities. It consists of transmitters that plug into the output socket of bite alarms, and a receiver unit that picks up the signals from the transmitters.

The transmitters have been designed to fit the most common output socket sizes. This allows the system to be used with almost any fishing bite alarm currently on the market including Fox, Delkim and Steve Neville bite alarms.

The ATTx receiver was the first to feature both audio and vibrate indication making it ideal for hard of hearing anglers.

After the phenominal success of the ATTx system released in 2004, the ATTx v2 was released in 2007.

The V2 system not only refines and improves on V1, it introduced a few new features.

The V2 ATTx system was developed and built to be forward compatible with future ATT products.

The alarm I really liked from the beginning.

The alarm I really liked from the beginning.

Whilst fishing at Cassien this year I was approached by Tom Wright of ATT. Would I like a set of his new ATTs alarm heads to use? I have always used an ATTx V2 receiver with my alarm set up, and it was great timing from Tom. I was getting fed up with my current alarm heads and was looking for a change. I had already considered the ATTs, so they seemed the obvious choice when Tom approached me.

Small and incredibly tough.

Small and incredibly tough.

ATT are proud to announce their latest product release, the ATTs, an entry-level bite alarm. The ‘s’ is for silent, as it does not have a speaker. All audible indication comes from your receiver speaker; your receiver beeps or vibrates where you are, not at the waters edge. With built in transmitters, they provide a full wireless remote buzzer-receiver system.

The alarms can be purchased individually and can be used with existing ATTx V2 receivers. Alternatively, they can be bought as set along with the ATTx V2 receivers or receivers can also be purchased separately.

ATT also sent me a comprehensive range of accessories and the Car Pager system. I have now added this to my van. It now means I can leave it parked up, with the safe knowledge I will be notified if anything ‘bad’ happens. Car crime is never going to go away, so you may as well protect yourself as best as you can.

The ATT Car Pager is an add-on that extends the V2 ATTx Receiver to include motor vehicle intrusion detection functionality. This is accomplished by installing a car pager unit in your vehicle which interfaces with the ATTx V2 Receiver.

The ATT Pager Unit can also be interfaced to existing car alarms or used with the ATT Ultasonic Sensors. The sensors come in two variations, either a pillar-mounted sensors or dashboard-mounted sensors.

To complement the pager unit, we have developed a Mini Receiver for non-fishing situations. The receiver incorporates visual, vibrating and audible warnings.

Had mine now for twelve months Neil. No problems, nothing broken, nothing wrong at all. Same batteries in the heads still. They are the best alarm for simplicity and reliablity without a doubt.

I have been using my set of ATTs and receivers for well over a year Nicco. No problems whatsoever. I have managed to persuade many people to convert to them.
In my kind of fishing I just need reliabilty and an alarm that functions, without the fussy extras – that’s why I like them plus they are totally waterproof.

      Cheers

      Jake

just got a set of ATTS’s for my light weight setup, all I can say is wow… light weight AND tough

now if we can just get different tones per buzzer ( yes I am that lazy)

    • thebigcarphunter Says:

They are apparently bringing out a limited edition box with longer range, ideal for boat users, and the ability to change the tone on each head…Right up your street!

I will be visiting ATT when I am back in the UK so I will hopefully have more news soon.

      Jake
