Hi Jake
I must say congrats on following your carping dreams and i really enjoy reading your notes on fishing various countries in search of the big one! I live in australia and the waters are untapped wild waters, very much like some of the big waters i have fished in spain, south africa and even cyprus… its great to be away from the syndicates as catching fish that have never seen a hook before is truly a magical thing. It seems this constant fishing would really take its toll on your gear, i ask you this because i am considering going to the ATTs alarms and i wonder are they as good as say or are they a gimmick? Sorry for the daft question but it would be good to get some good feedback on them.
Anyhow once again for the many stories and i hope the adventures keep on going for you!
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for your comment Dave. With regards to the ATT alarms – I have had no issues with them since using them from March 2009…I think that says it all really. Alarms are just down to personal choice I guess, and I like a simple, no frills, model. The ATTs is reliable, and the V2 sounder box works very well. No complaints so far!!
All the best
Jake
